Learning to draw and paint is all about enjoying yourself and expressing your own individual creativity. Painting is also a wonderful and therapeutic way to relax and de-stress from the pressures and fast pace of modern living.
At Brushstrokes we believe that anyone can learn to draw and paint. We all have creativity and with this you can learn the basic skills. From there it is a matter of how much time and dedication you apply to your learning. Not everyone will be, or wants to be a great painter but you can develop your skills to a level that you can enjoy, and feel achievement. We will teach you how to see, and realise that everything is made up of a combination of shapes, shadows and tones with proportion, perspective, positive & negative spaces and that using these you can learn to understand correctly what you are looking at.
